stock: tires any

width 108 max/ tires can't extend past the finder
body touring car bodies (mazda, stratus, or alfa)

mod: tires any
batteries 5-6 cell 2/3 A 1100-1500mah
motor any brushed or brushless
width 108 max/ tires can't extend past the finder
body any

No weight limits in either class. I don't really feel there is a need for it right now since most cars are very close in weight. There is really only so much someone can do to lighten one of these things up...trust me, I've tried The stock motor we are using at the moment is the Losi LOSB1089 I believe. It's the 280 can motor with bushings, NO bearings.

Mimi is running micro's at her upcoming race, but it is not an MRL date. The next MRL date is the 16th at HobbyTown USA in Fredrick. After that we will have one last race date at HobbyTown USA in Glen Burnie at the indoor carpet track there. This season is just a test to see how turnouts will look, and also for us to test rules, etc. to make sure racing is fun and fair for everyone. The Glen Burnie date will be in March, most likely the 3rd weekend. I will have a definite schedule for next year. In fact, I have one written up already, but I believe I left it at work, and I do want to make sure it doesn't interfere with any major races being held next year. I'll probably post that soon to get some feedback from everyone. Hope that helps

hey micro fan, I don't want to hijack this thread but I just want to make sure that you are aware of this race:

Smack Down Race in Ottawa (CANADA)

It's only around 4 hours from NY and it will be a nice event for sure.

price is cheap and the competition will be hight.

it was nice to run and not care how i did. a servo that liked to fight goin to center, hookin up motor backwards from the normal configuration, not b'g able to see the trickiest turn well, and finally loosing a diff. all didnt matter. still woulda like to run mod instead, but all is well. only 5 races left at the haus, then time for a good break

It has been decided that the final MRL warmup date will be at HobbyTown USA in Glen Burnie MD on March 15th. This is a Saturday only race on a short carpet track with high bite and insane competition!

Awesome! Glad to hear that, and looking forward to seeing you again. I was also able to plant the bug in the ear of some guys from Mimi's this past weekend. Hopefully we can pick up a few more entries from there. The normal crowd in Glen Burnie is approximately 15-20 stock cars and about 6-10 Mods.

Yes, it'll be two points nights in one. I will make note of who is attending just for MRL points so it does not affect weekly points.

I ran the Frito's painted micro at mimi's this last weekend . I've been talking to Marvin and we should be able to make it down to that race. Mimi pushed her event back to april 5th from what i've heard so i get 1 out of town race per month so i've got nothin for march .

Is there a picture of track, maybe some setup tips for 280/5 cell and 180/6 cell?

no i meant in terms of stock. are the 2 formulas running together or separate?

yme-mrl is 280-5 only. local race haus rules run 180-6 (at least for this yr). track changes every 2wks so right now is invalid to you. see teamxray site for setup sheets. pretty simple really.

wesley, in the haus? ohh yeahhhh! better bring your a game son, track is tight and the racing is tighter

YmeBP - 21-42 is a good starting gear for stock(280/5).

Sounds like were in for a good crowd
