Default what

OK, what do we have to do to get u guys to show up for some micro racing at the MRL events and actually race.

Please give some salutions

Congrats to fred on the stock class. I had a blast and I think everyone who came, did as well.
I think the stock class will be the largest and the most competative class, just because theres no room for era's. I thaught that we would have trouble running 6 min, but the way things are looking, I think we could make 8 min. Mimi still has about 8 motors left, there was 10, but robbie and I purchased one each just so she wouldn't be stuck with them. OH yall keep your eyes open for lil 4-Dee cuz he's cummin for ya

Mod was fast, thats all I have to say about that. OH, congrats to fred.
For all u guys running stock, its time to step up.
Pull the trigger and hold on.

I'm glad to see that we had 3 1/10 guys come out and play with us. Now they know this aint no game (Vic, Teach, and Arv). Thanks for not walkin away when things got a little ruff. Any time u need some help let me know.

Thanks Mimi and Full throttle for letting us take part.

Tunerdad

As much as I would agree that the stock 280 motor seemed slow enough at Mimi's to call for another brushed motor or class, I think having another slightly revised version of stock would just "waterdown" the turnout of both classes. If you're at the point where you would want to introduce another class, you might as well just make it a Brushed Mod 6 cell max class, as you have at the Nationals. I by no means am trying to put down your suggestion as I am glad that people are showing the interest in making this series better. I am just bringing my thought process to the table to see what you or anyone else may think.

Indeed.

Thanks for the reply Tim. I think you're pretty much on point there. Also, sorry Kevin for not getting to you right away on this. I've been working 12-16 hour days... It's all good though, Snowbird's at the Radisson is gonna be a real treat!

Thanks everyone for the support, Feb 16th at 'The C' should be a real good time!

You can put me down for stock. Are we going to be limited to the same motors or are their other brand 280 motors we can choose from?

For 'stock' 1/18 we use the Venom Fireball 370. It is a 280 can motor that is very cheap, good life, and excellent speed with 5 cell. We started with a short list of motors that were considered legal. Including the Losi 'speed' motor for the Mini-t. The Fireball has proven to last longer and be a better value. Several other tracks in the region, have adopted this as their 'stock' class motor/battery rule.

Is there a schedule of all events posted somewhere? Heard rumblings of a late Feb event at Mimi's for micros and i'm tryign to make it down there. Also reading through the thread to try and pick up on the rules as to what is allow weight limits and motor etc. Is there a page somewhere w/ the MRL rules/specs?
