Hi all,
Just wanted to let everyone know that I will not be attending the race this weekend......I just am to scared and don't want to have my butt handed to me by all you top dowg drivers there at the Haus....NOT!!!!!!

Seriously, I am sorry for not being able to support the MRL during the trial run. Had a big financial set back this week with my small business and do not have the extra funds for making this race.....But I do want to applaud Robbie, James and all others involved for getting these series up and running..It will definitely do well for the growth of the micro industries seeing the East Coast flourish with micro racing.....Again thank you for your hard work and I will most definitely be racing with all of you in the new season....Have a great time this weekend and let us all that won't be there know how things went down....Good luck to everyone!!!!!!

Happy Racing,
Wesley"Micro-Man"Dennis

Thanks to Hobbytown for hosting us and Robbie and everyone who was involved for setting the whole thing up and the the grill man .. those were some good hotdogs and burgers!!!!

I'm jealous of those couches too ...

Once i get the pix uploaded i'll post some linkage. Thanks again all!!

Photo's and Videos:

Anyone is welcome to post photo's of the evening on my site.

A couple more MRL photos:

Youtube videos:
The camera man for the B Main was Darren, he drinks heavily and suffers from an inner ear disorder so the video is very wobbly, I don't know how he can drive his car straight when he can't hold a camera still for more than 3 seconds hahah.

good show, real great confines in the schekell's camp. and good also that the donuts finally got discovered some 15hrs after i got them. congrats to winners (err winner ) . tim-serious heat in the batt dept, those kids had those to make up for the ?-mark that was the losi 280. have more fun wrenchin than racin. sad note, the r3 is dead, lower chassis is split in the back , so the pro will be pressed into service for the last hoorah next wk.

hope every1 made it home well. til next time, and for those who didnt run....you better run!

That was a good time!

We got to see some of the tightest racing ever at the Haus last night. From the stock "C" main, I think Tim said #3-6 were only .4 apart, to a hairy 10 car mod "A" main.

Robbie, what the heck was that?? Your first weekend in a mod car and you pulled the "A" main win! Tim V., you and me have to talk set-ups!! Your car was on rails!

Finally a big thanks to Robbie and Denmark for putting the work into getting this program up and running.... and obviously to all of us now, running very strong! Then more importantly even;

Thanks to all who supported the MRL in it's inaugural year.

I would be glad to help you get your car straight. I helped Robbie get his dialed in yesterday, otherwise, his performance might have not been so spectacular. My car was running strong, the driver was just not there. I had problems in the main as well, which did not help my final standings. Started getting my car ready for outdoors today. Hopefully the set-up help will be returned, to help me outdoors.

Huge thanks to the whole Sheckells family, for donating a lot of time and material into making the track a nicer place. Also for having the grill set-up, making a lot of people happy to have good food.

Also thanks to Robbie and Denmark for putting the series together.

What was the count? 37 cars?
Pretty impressive.
Micro is alive and well.
Let's keep it moving forward everyone.
I'll bring the grill!

Mike, Thanks for getting my box back to me.....I do appreciate it!

Robbie, get that schedule up asap so we all can plan for the next MRL season....

Congrats to Robbie for taking the stock class in points and also to Mike for finishing first in points in the mod class......

I do have to put in a serious request for running the scalpel class next season..... I believe there is and will be a lot of support for this class...Not only dose Tim Haskins have hot batteries but he also makes a great looking conversion upgrade for the chassis.....No matter what, "MicroMan" supports and endorses the MRL......Till next season, get those cars tuned up and ready to go racing......

Default WOW!

This has been my first real chance to sit down and actually type something up on here. Of course it comes at work during lunch

First I'd like to say THANK YOU to the ENTIRE Sheckells Family! Scott and Kevin for bringing in materials, tools, and experience on cleaning up the track and pit area. Sam and Storm for their help in the process and also for representing the Locals well by racing great and making both A's. Also the wives of Kevin and Scott for allowing them to come down just about every night for an entire week to get the race track in the best shape it's ever been in. THANKS!!!!

Also, I'd like to thank my dad Jim and Tim Getchell for calling races and relieving me of that duty so I could focus on one very fragile car, and one ill handling car and be able to get the most out of each of them. I'd like to thank the fellas that drove the long distances to race with us. We had a blast having you, your presence is always enjoyed and welcomed! We WILL have a race at the MUSHROOM BOWL next winter. I think Denmark will be busy all summer getting ready for that one I also want to thank Tory Skyers for donating 3 packs of batteries as door prizes. Finally I'd like to thank Everyone! Thank you all for supporting the MRL in it's sneak peak season. Next year of course will be bigger and better! 7 Races, 4 Tracks, Trophies, Car Kits, Speed Controls, Batteries, Shirts...the list goes on. See you all next season!!!

Oh yea, final count for Saturday...38 Cars
