I hope I can get these gq's I got from gee last weekend to last through one more night. They are getting small quick, but they are dialed.

That last set wasn't doing that bad for traction either. That is the scary part.

Hah, I found out they are not. I ran the set down to 30mm tonight. The glue to bond the foam to the rim was starting to come through on the front ones. Wanna hook me up with another set?

I don't see why setting up the track on friday and letting people practice on it before racing would matter. It is open for anyone to come practice on. Many other tracks set-up the track a week in advance before big races, and it is open for practice.

Default Here's the Deal

If I was to leave the current layout up, which we all (by all I mean the locals) ran on last weekend, and have the opportunity to practice on all day sunday, and monday through friday night, you know there would be someone there every night on it. Now with the way I'm doing things, I'm putting up a new layout Friday afternoon. I've also posted online time and time again that we will be open Friday night to practice. What this does is allow the guys who are traveling 2-5 hours to race with us the opportunity to have the same amount of practice time on the track as any local does. This sounds more fair to me than leaving up a track that we all got fast on last weekend and forcing the out of towners to learn the layout, grip, etc while we've already got our cars dialed.

The track is open Friday night to everyone. Nobody is excluded from practicing Friday night. Everyone is given the same amount of time to practice the new layout. How is that confusing? That makes perfect sense to me. That is the most fair and honest way to hold a big event. Otherwise, if I leave it as is to where some of us have practiced on the track mid week last week, last weekend, and this week, then those individuals have a huge advantage over anyone from out of town. That is not fair. That IMO is not how you run an event.

If I make it to where it seems unfair to the guys who are going to spend money on gas, hotel rooms, food, etc to come out and race with us, do you think they would come back? No, they sure wouldn't. I know I'd be less likely to come back to a track that is 2-5 hours away if they pulled that garbage.

I think you are doing it right Robbie, I know that we change the track every 2 weeks, but we can't let non- locals come in and be sucking hind tit so to speak. Big race, new formats. Give everyone a fair chance.

BTW: I added 2 grams of dilythium crystals to 4 dodecaliters of furfuraled film and got some really good reads on those motors.
