For those of you who may or may not be aware of the UKMicroX event, and the UK Micro Challenge events previous to it, please let me explain exactly what this event is about.
April 2006 saw the first UK Micro Challenge event held at the TRRAC club in Tamworth. With help from sponsors such as RRCi, CML, AE, Mirage, RCMI, Team Tekin and numerous other companys we attracted some of the best UK drivers to this event including Craig Drescher, Olly Jefferies and Chris Doughty. The event was a HUGE success and was warmly received by all who attending.
In October 2006 UK Micro Challenge 2 took place and again saw great interest and great reviews from the event.
In March 2007 UK Micro Challenge 3 took place. This time we dropped 1/18th onroad as a class and soley concentrated on the offroad aspect of micro racing.
Again, some of the biggest names sponsored the event including CML, MuchMore, RRCi, AE, Tekin and more. Again we saw Olly Jefferies and Chris Doughty back on track along side Chris Hudson, Steve Davis, Wes Myles and Dez Chand. Kris Kennedy was the MC for the day and we recieved not only 6 pages of report in RRCi magazine but also a DVD dedicated to the event, made by Traplet.
After seeing the success of the German Micro Masters and the USA Nats that were both held around this time my aim is to make the UKMicroX event an event that will never be forgotten. Micro scale racing history is being written all the time and UKMX will be at the tip of everyones tongues once ive pulled this event off.
You all may or may not be aware that we are now fully BRCA affiliated and have our own 6 round National Series starting in September. As Chairman of the BRCA section im looking forward to the challenge that a Series brings and hope to see many developments within micro scale racing as we approach the UKmicroX event.
With this in mind I am looking, once again, for companys and distributors to sponsor the Raffle that takes place on the day of the UKMicroX events. This is a regular feature that goes down VERY well with the racers.
Over the years we have had thousands of pounds worth of prizes from various companys, with companys such as Castle Creations, CML/AE and Muchmore handing out boxes and boxes of prizes.

All sponsors will have there names and website links plastered over the UK-MicroRC forum, which to this day is STILL the UK's ONLY dedicated micro RC forum and a perfect way to target a dedicated audience, but also on the newly created UKMicroX/BRCA Micro Scale website
