The exotek chassis looks to be great, I guess it depends on if you are still wanting to do 18R stock or not.
There are other chassis out there too, there is one that is like $50 or so that has a fan and some other things included as well. Since I run a lipo already, this would work better for me.
Maybe search online for the different types, and post a message to see which is good for the money.

I've been running the 18r for a bit now. One thing I noticed is that the bodies need a bigger back wing, for on-road anyways. Anyone know of a company who makes 1/18th scale wings.
Also if your going to running against M18's and other 1/18th scales I'd look into the Xray. You can get the 18r to set up to on-road but the M18 is convertional lighter and it seems to be setup for on-road. Check our Exotekracing for the M18r2 upgrade, it looks insane.
