Default rc18b help

hi i have a 18b and when i take off wide open it make a clicking noice in the rear.... i took it apart and the gera's loook like new .. the mesh is good to... any info would be good...

I know that when the 18t first came out they had a shim problem in the rear diff. You might want to check that. The clicking means they are slipping under power, so I would guess it's a good bet this will be the problem.

Just curious....does it click when you go straight or while turning....also be sure the diffs are shimmed correctly as stated above.

well i just checked the gear's and i need new 1 .... do they go fast? sence i got this used... i just orderd 2 set's for the frount and rear .. so im going to put new gear in the frount and rear..lol....and how do you know if you shim it right? and dose and 1 know if the stock esc will take the orion baja motor? thanks for all your help.

Yes, the stock ESC can handle any stock or mod 300 (280) can motor.

I as for the gears breaking.....depends on driving style.
I have a brushless in my 18t and never have replaced the gears.

Shim: not to tight not to loose.....I know that doesn't help much but just a little bit of backlash is all you need.

well i drive on a offroad track.... jump's are 2 foot high.... next year im planing on runing the baja motor.... this year i praticed with the stock motor...
