Default Possibly Racing on a Slot car track, what scales could work?

There is a new slot car facility that has opened up that will have 3 long tracks, and even a road course. Looking at the size of the cars they run, they look very close to 1/18 scale, just a tad smaller.

If they allowed RCs on the track, what scales would make up well? Since they are slots, there are I beleive 4 to 5 lanes, not sure the width, but I would say about 1 1/2 car length on either side of the outer slot.

I was thinking of something like an Iwaver or Mini-Z. Though, maybe standard 1/18 scales like Micro RS4 and BRP SC18s?

Thoughts?

Here in Georiga me and several other racers ran our mini-z's on a King Slot Track without issues. Just gotta find what tires will grip on the track. We could go almost about 6-8 cars at one time on the track.

On the mini-z's, do you need your own personal transponders and can you use your own radios?

we used core transponders we setup our own bridge on the slot track not to damage it.... so you can use your own transmitter as long as its am or you have the adaptor for the mini-z's that allows you to use helios or z1 radios

We have some resurfaced old slot car tracks that we race on here in Sweden.
This is my car - a scratch built 1:27 Open car with a Slot car lexan body (you can mount one on a Mini-Z as well).

Here's a video of the action
