They do exist, but they aren't listed on the website. Most other brands of 1/18th shocks use the same size o-ring so you should be able to substitute (example: DTXC9040).

I like the Flight Power Evo2 1600 (not to be confused with the Evo 1600mah receiver pack Tower sells). But it is a little thick, so you have add a few washers under the battery retainers to get them high enough.

Before shopping here online, see if your LHS can order from Flightpower USA.

Hey all, Xray does offer metal pinions now that are the right pitch for the m18/t to use with 180-370 size motors.

Well about time! As you can see I do not post very often, but I had to get off my hands for this. will it be fine to run these with the Metal spur on a orange clay (baseball clay) track?

That will eat any setup with the grit. As long as you keep the dust from building up too much between runs, should still last much longer than a plastic spur and pinion would.

Yeah no kidding I go through the plastic ones kind of quick. For me, it is not so bad since I don't neglect my cars.

how durable are the m18t pros to bash with? What parts break easily and need to be stocked in my possession at all times? Any body have experience with both this and the rc18's? My rc18b is a blast to bash with and i thought this would be nice as well.

I got one of the m18t kits when they first came out and I did not have that many issues. I beilieve the pro has all of the parts that I would say to worry about covered. have pinions around is you dont get metal ones. other than that just have fun. If you bash real hard the only thing I have broken that set me back is a shock shaft, and that is real uncomon.

The upper arms especially have a tendency to break very easily - my experience has been focused on using the truck on a track though.

I found if you can stay off the boards, you'll be fine (I can't). One small touch and you can easily snap one in half. Bummer is that both arms aren't symetrical therefore if you break the right one twice...it'll cost you 16$ (and you have two left ones left...).

Performance wise it's awesome. Great drivetrain and exceptional quality.

Pros:
- Great performer
- one purchase and no hops required (if you buy the pro)
- Very well built, no slop

Cons
- Very little parts support other then online orders.
- Expensive parts (non-symetrical, upper left/right, lower right/left) and pricey
- upper arms waaaay too fragile

If RPM made some upper arms, I would race mine in future Nats race. But that's not going to happen, I'm going back to RC18T\B.

I've also used the RC18 line and I'm now going back to it.

RC18 Pros
- Durable
- Easy parts availibility
- Cheaper parts support

RC18 Cons
- Not as good of a performer (IMO)
- Sloppy steering
- Needs hops (exotek conversion)

You can spend a few bucks and turn it into a good performer, particularly for the steering.

For bashing, ... depends what you do...

hey thanks for the response. I love my rc18b, but i cant wait for my m18t pro to come in. I'm trying to read up as much as i can on this car. I have a brand new hitec 81mg servo laying around, and i'm hoping this will fit the m18t.
