Does anyone know who carries a good variety of rubber tires for the M18? HPI MRS4 work too.

I'm looking for someone here in the states if possible.

Thanks!

Pro-Line, Losi, Xray, Integy/Top Cad, Trinity all have rubber tires for the m18t. I think though you were referencing the wrong car.

You want this thread for the m18:

Hey,
At the moment i'm really undecided which combination to go of the motors/esc I have sitting here

I have a aon 6000kv with a 2mm shaft
quark 33 pro a (difficult to setup)
Tekin 6800kv speed controller
Tekin 6800kv motor

I don't know which to use in my m18mt
Any advice on why u'd go one option over the other?
Would the aon 6000kv go well in the m18mt
Its just my muck around thing, i like SPEED haha. but i also like jumps!
Thanks
Adrian

Hi, I was wondering if anyone knows if there are any other types of shocks that will fit the m18t from other companies? I want to use the aluminum xray ones but it doesn't seem like they have a large selection of springs any help would be greatly appreciated.

thanks,dan

You have 3 spring choices with the xrays as well as the ability to use other manufacturer springs.

XRAY Spring Front + Rear (4+4) - Set M18MT - Soft #388181

Stock (medium soft)

XRAY Spring Front + Rear - Set NT18T - Medium#388192

Mini Me,
What would you reckon about the brushless system choices?
I'm not sure what to run!

This is my personal opinion only.

If its the M18MT Low to Medium. Ultra Low w/3 cells.

If its the M18T Medium to Medium/High. Low w/3cells.

Look for bigger 370 size cans (24mm) if possible.

Hey guys, happy I found this thread. Some good info and links in here!

So I've just purchased a 2nd hand m18t fitted with a AON 4900kv bl and as far as i know, the only hop-ups on it are alloy front arms and motor mount.

Just wanted to get some suggestions on what parts would be worth upgrading? I'll only be using this for backyard bashing and taking to the dirt track every now and then for a run(not racing), so what would some neccessary hop-ups for it and where would be the best place to get them from?

Thanks in advance.
Steve.

I see you mentioned it has a brushless motor, then aluminium drive shafts for the front would be the first necessary hop-up in my opinion as the stock plastic ones are quite weak (ok for stock) but they will take a bit of wear with a brushless motor and break them. Stormerhobbies have a great selection of parts for the m18t

Thought the alum drive shaft's would be a worthy upgrade, but I've had alot of trouble finding a place that sell's them. Will pick up a set soon!

edit: damn! $29.95 a pair.. that make's me wanna cry

Default Official Xray M18T Thread

Well I have one of these trucks and was hoping for people to share on and off road setups along with carpet setups. I my self want to run on carpet and will be using a brushless setup and I have the hex adapters to run 1/10 scale foams but I thought I seen somewhere somebody had 1/12 scale tires on the stock xray rims if thats right can anyone tell me which ones would be good to start with.

thanks,dan
