Well its now sitting on my desk, after stripping a spur, and screwing up the diff I dont feel like messing with it anymore, its too small and too fidly.
Sounds like it was all too tight, If the spur was tight that would explain the crappy run times, and the trannys really seam to be a crap shoot.
We have 3 cars we play around with, Ive only replaced my tranny once, our parts car never and my Pops has done his a few times and just glued it all and made one that just pushes both wheels the same.
Ya seems like they all have to tight tranny screws outta the box. Lossen the screws and you'll be golden. If your getting 10 minutes with a totally stock car thats not bad. Free up the tranny and adding bearings will help tons with run times. Then again you can just let it sit and give up
are you all talking about a micro t or a mini t the titles says micro t... im confused if theres a brushless system for the micro t where can i get one from and if you talkin about the mini t 10 mins is good i onley get about 8 with mine and it has bearing in it and is as loose as posibled with out it flling apart lol...
threaded wheel axles... make it a hole lot easier to take tires on and off. bearings will help out... steering rods make some that are stronger... one of mine lasted about five mins before it broke... i mad some new ones out of a dvd case lol.... witch seem to holding perty good....
I like the steering rods now, bendy so theres lots of give, but when they break I could make some out of whatever matarial I find lol. The car is pretty strong, jumped it off a table and it never broke
Once u get the threaded axle rods, turn the wheels inside out for wider stance and better handling. Evo Mod springs from Radio Shack, along with some fuel tubing for spacers at the top of the rear shocks improves handling, prevents bottoming out on jumps, and can be varied for the surface u run on. T9dragon has some killer mods / suggestions that u can search for on this forum and seems to have his pretty dialed in. U can also get some better batteries from Killer Hobbies or maybe Cheapbatteries.com. That's my two cents worth, have fun. Oh, yeah; small zip ties make awesome steering link replacements and don't break easily. U can make dozens of them for the cost of one replacement part from Losi.
