THATS AWESOME! I'm hoping to get my rc18r soon. Where can i get foam tires like that? Or are those just shaved 1/10'th scale tires. I don't have the car yet so I am not sure of sizes, and by pictures it is hard to tell.

cheers.

Im looking to get a brushless system for a rc18b. Would a Quark Pro-Car 33a Brushless Speed Control and a Hacker E30-13L Brushless Motor do the trick? I want pretty fast speeds and i have found this combo for less than 150 australian so like 110 american. Does the motor mount need modifying or does it fit straight in? What kinda speeds will it hit with the stock battery and that motor and esc? thanks

Where do you get those foams Migs? Also does it have a hex or pin mount on the back of the wheel?

I bought them from a seller on one18th.com. They're from GPM and I've been in touch with the guy who sold them to me to try and get some more but I haven't heard back from him yet. Are you working on Monday (at NorCal) ? I might drop by there for a little while. You're more than welcome to run my car.

Almost forgot... the wheels have a 1/10th hex mount on the back so I had to use hex adapters.

John,

Thanks for the runtime on the carpet track today. I was pretty impressed with how those foams handled. Big difference compared to the stock rubber. Looks like you were getting some pretty quick laps when you tried out my car. I need a lot of practice, just too busy with other things goin on. This 18R could use some sway bars like you mentioned. I'm gonna play with the springs and shock oil a little bit and see if I can get some more handling out of it. I'll probably be in again next Monday.

Thanks,

Mike

What size spur gear does the R use? Still using the 55t like the truck?

John... to be perfectly honest, I have absolutely no idea what these wheels/foams were made for. They came pre-mounted. They don't look like any other Mini Cooper wheels I've seen so I really don't know. All I know is that they are GPM. I wish I would've saved the packaging with the part# on it. The search continues...
