Im running road coarse only, on asphalt. The foams are nice, but rubber (like Proline Road Rage) tires are the best bet on our track.

THE LAST WEEK MY 18R RUN ACCIDENTALLY TROUGH WATER, SO ESC ITS FRIED, IT WORKS BUT ONLY IN REVERSE I CHANGE DE WIRES AND RADIO SET UP AND RUNS,BUT I WANT TO PUT A NEW ONE, ANY SUGGESTION OR JUST GET THE ORIGINAL.

I NOTICE THAT THE ROLLER SLEEVES FROM PAINTERS FIT IN THE 18R WHEELS SO WITH A PIPE CUTTER I DID A SET OF TIRES I FOUND A NICE FOAM SLEEVE IN THE LOCAL HARDWARE STORE AND IT WORKS GREAT NICE GRIP AND HANDLING,YEA I KNOW IT'S NOT WHAT THE PROS DO, BUT IT WAS FUN TRYING DIFERENTS KINDS OF SLEEVES, SOME ARE GOOD FOR DRIFTING,JUST STAY AWAY FROM THE FLOFY ONES.

AND CHICAGO THANKS FOR THE INFO

check and make sure your dragging the spine plate with the new steering assembly. I put in a integy in my sons as well and afyer he cracked it into the wall a few times it bent it , yes without knocking the servo saver out, and cause it to rub the chassis spine plate. we swithced over to the driven Products drag link from The Toyz and have had zeroe issues.

What a blast. Got one on the weekend. Created a "rally" type course from jumps on ozite carpet to hard word floor to create some form of icy course (read drifting...). Great little car for bashing out of the box. Great fun.

Having declining membership because of rising cost of rc racing (10 scale) could see this being a great starter class to introduce new membership.
