Default MAMBA 25 light just stays red..what gives?

I have run maybe 10 packs through my mamba int the 18T and it seems to be fine UNTIL THE OTHER DAY.during the end of my pack, it started getting glitchey then stalled out. I figured it was just dying and not enough power to operate properly so I parked it. later i charged another pack, put it in, turned it on and she made the normal beep sound, then just stays with the red light on. it wont respond to throttle inputs, but the steering is working properly.

I have tried to reprogram the esc, but nothing seems to get it back to a functioning state.. any ideas?? its not responding at all to the setup button or the throttle...did I kill it?

batteries are good all around, fresh charge, connections good...etc..

Pete

ps i posted this in another thread by mistake, so if you see it there, my bad.

Do you have the castle link?

You might have somehow glitched up your firmware on your chip.

1. Your switch isnt turned on

2. Your batteries are flat

3. Your cutoff voltage setting on the ESC is too high.

same thing happened to me with one of my mamba's. update the firmware to the newest update (all of mine were either initial or 1.00) and it should function properly once again.

AHHH. even better. Could you explain a bit more about the symptoms when you started to notice the problem? or was it just the sudden breakdown, like mine went? Did I do something perhaps, maybe overheat or a hard hit or something?

Thanks for your reply, btw.

it worked fine, but for no reason it just stopped functioning and would not recalibrate, just beep red which meant it wasn't getting signal from the receiver. i updated the firmware via the castle link and it worked again
