get the pro....if you shop around you can find it for about $115.....
the rtr will cost you big bucks in the long run.....
with the rtr you need oil shocks, bearings, ball diff, slipper, cvds ,motormount and adj turnbuckles.....

pro for sure. the money you would spend on electronics would be spent in the long run anyways, seeing as how the stock mini-t radio gear sucks. i had a pro, and it worked awesome with to further purchaeses after radio, motor, battery, servo, etc. i bought the hitec hs-55, and almost immediately broke it....i then replaced it with the hitec hs81, which required a little notching on the chassis, and running a direct horn, but i wouldn't have it any other way....it's awesome. anyways....after i got rid of it, i bought a mini-baja......bad idea...i wish i never would've gotten rid of my pro. just my two cents

Red face

Depends on weather your racing or bashing

I run a STOCK mini-t in the novice class. Only thing ive done is ad fuel tubing to the shock shafts to stop some of that bounce. And changed to deans plugs, thats all!! FUN for all

I would go with the pro
I am not sure but i think that the RTR has a esc and reciver built in the same unit wich is strange. It also has a 4 wire servo so aftermarket is not an option. I would say the Pro is worth it
