Steele. Did you read in depth the rules ideas? I ask, because I share your thoughts exactly.

Thats why I split it into a spec, stock, and mod. Specifically so out of the box can compete without the people who spend needlessly to have land rockets can compete. While stock is the "middle ground" for those that want to upgrade without going nuts. We have already seen the extents people will go.
As I say getting these in now will help further down the line when people want to get together and realize that running whatever simply wont leave the most "fun" and fairness. In a complete opposite to what you and Berm find, this is what has made 1/18th scale rules soo haphazard. Because it was run what you brung, which lead to inequalities. This gets off subject, but since this is being raised again and again, please
visit this thread to discuss the particulars.
If you feel the above rules can be further streamlined, again let me know. This is supposed to a more conglomeration of all our ideas to make something better adaptable to most tracks and clubs. I only gave those to get the ball rolling. There seems to be a misconception that these are MY rules which is not the case at all. It should be
OURS. It would work better in a editable online type system where we could each edit the page itself, but this isn't possible yet per no one to host such a function.
So far other than Dragon, no one has given suggestions to further refine this.

. So yes, at this time they do look like mine, which is not what I am trying to accomplish here.
