Battery for a RC18

Hey guys...

Went out to Tempe on Tuesday night and won the first ever 18th scale racer meeting there...

It was a RC18B on a On-Road track.

I have ordered all the option parts i want for the car, and am now looking at doing up my motor and batteries...

What would be the best motor and battery combo for racing? I am looking at getting a 5.4kv motor and also Lipo battery...

Let me know what the best combo will be for competition racing.

I dont really have to much of a budget so as long as it is under 300 Australian dollars i am happy

Not sure about what's available in Australia, but the Apogee 2 cell 1500 fits the Asc. chassis perfectly.

Alright got baterries sorted

From Flight Power...

1500 3s1p 11.1v which has 30amp constant and 45amp bursts...

Just need to find out for motors...

I can get a 5.4kv cheap (brand new made by Himark)
