My LHS informed yesterday that Sportwerks is being shutdown by Horizon. There will be no more Recoils shipped from Horizon. I didn't believe them and called Horizon myself. I spoke at length with customer support. It's true, the Recoil has been discontinued. I was told that parts will be supported by Horizon until 2010.

That stinks. I kind of like the Recoil. On the other hand, it's good news as I can now go to the manufacturer and get it direct.

Okay, I just thought I would let you guys know that I have decided that I am going to sell all my Recoils and parts. I will be posting an ad in the "For Sale" forum. All 5 Recoils come RTR with extra parts and 3-4 clear stock bodies, 2 custom painted bodies and 5 RTR bodies. I would rather sell them all together. For $300 shipped you will get 5 Recoils RTR with batteries, bodies and extra parts. Here are a few pics.

I believe the Venom pinions fit. Check out the sizes at Venom's website.

I'll sell you the clear bodies for $300 shipped and you will also get the 5 RTR Recoils and parts...................

I would prefer to sell everything at one time and not part it out.

I finally put my recoil pro on the track this last weekend!
I was impressed how much it drove like a 1/10th TC
the rubber tires hooked up very good but also wear out quickly I would gues about 5 runs and they would be slicks LOL
Installed Magenta's also worked very good and no excessive wear
just going to add some more castor to take away some mid-corner steering
and the car is dialed!!!

you want less caster to take away midcorner steering on the car. less caster = more turn in, less in the middle and off, more = less in, more in the middle and off
