The person you talked to was mis-informed. There is a visable difference. And, is evendenced by the fact that we are not breaking the foam wheels, as we did the ones for rubber.

I see they got some different springs now. I don't know if it's just a color or if they are different rate.

Having just became availiable in my area, I have picked up a set of ball diffs for my Recoil. I have never set up or used ball diffs before, could one of you good folks give me some insite on what and how to get them dialed in correctly. Many thanks in advance..................I am sure many out there will begin using them in the near future.

With the driveline, it's a lot like an old TC3, meaning you need to dremel/shave parts of the gearbox where the ball bearings sit, as well as other areas to clearance for moving parts. It's easiest to do each gearbox separately until the diff and pinion will spin freely, then put the car back together to check the whole thing. i know that going through the car made min much quieter.

Those are the springs that come on the pro. As far as we can tell, they are the original springs with yellow paint. Still to soft for most tracks/set-ups.

Put the Carisma back in for this weekend Mr. Carnage and let's see how you do at Underground then.

Default carisma

Running stock on Undergrounds track has to be like watching paint dry on the straight.

Ha.

I tried a 16 tooth pinion on the Carisma in my Recoil at UG and it was plenty fast. Not fast enough to anywhere near keep up with Nick or Kris because they have ESC's and brushless combo's that cost the same amount as the whole Recoil did.

Is there a particular way to setup the car so it won't traction roll except running bald tires on rubber?

Peded, get the car as low as possible and if your running foams you need to put CA on the outside of the foam right above the rim so it does not hook on the surface.

What about Springs wise? Would that help at all? Making it more aggressive?
