Good news for anybody who wants to race the Hurricane races, and hates the stock motor.

From KevinK:
"Recoil Rules update......We have decided due to availability and cost factors to go with a "spec" motor. The only motor allowed now is the Associated RC18MT 370 motor.... http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXKCD0&P=SM
This motor is only in the 11 dollar range and no spacer or drilled out pinions are required to use this motor….it is a direct replacement and last long a time."

Apparently a lot of guys at Harbor Hobbies are using this motor, and it lasts quite a while.

"I cleared up the wordage on the Recoil rules update... You can use the kit stock motor and the Associated RC 18MT 370 motor in that class. Sorry for the confusion."

The stock ESC from a 18T would fit nicely and work just fine.
