yes but the HS-225 is a better choice, if you are going with a Hitec servo at that price range.

Ok I went with a quark and a trinity brushless motor. Now my rear diff only last 2 or 3 battery packs. If I put a ball diff in the back will it change how the car dfrives? I dont really want to change how it drives just want to make it more reliable.

if you do the vendetta ball diff, you need to replace both as this will keep the car handlin the same. actually it has smoothed the car out quite a bit. does anyone make recoil specific ball diffs? how about sway bars or springs?

We are actually using diff oil in the diffs and they last alot longer and the car drives much better! We are generally using anywhere from 5k to 10k in the rear and 100k to 125k in the front. The only issue we are still having is trying to keep the oil in the rear diff.

For springs, you can cut down RC18 springs. For the sway bar, the Xray M18 sway bar kit works perfect!!

what is working well is running the stiff springs all around with the m18 sway bar set up front, running the diff oils as reccomended by speed racer. also using 40 rear/ 45 fronts helps as does running a bit more caster.

another setup that works aswell is simply running the standard springs with 70 wt up front and 40wt in back, 120k diff oil in front and 7k in the rear. i am currently running 45's all around but once the magentas come in i will be running 40/45. move the shocks to verticle up front and lay them down in back. another key factor is camber. 0-.5 degrees in front and 2.5-3 degrees in the rear seems to be working well for me.

I'm using the Carisma/Recoil ball diff. Go to RCPworks There is also a oneway. As for the swaybars, there isn't one available yet.
I cut a 12th scale VCS spring in half to make 2 springs for the Recoil

Build the diff with a small washer - motor shims work well - behind the planet gear, use Corally Ball Diff Grease, packed up front, light coat in the rear, and you should have no more problems.

Yeah, thats it. Put a motor shim behind the smaller gear, towards the outer part of the diff case.
