i am running brushless and foams already on carpet. was just wanting that little extra bling on the car. i've seen a post ,in this thread i believe, and they ran bearing and did not have any slop issues. i might grab them anyway and see for myself.
thanks for the info

I beleive that is the same size pinion used on the Vendetta. What motor are you going to use?

I'm using some helicopter pinions from here. http://www.fxaeromodels.com/index.php?cPath=94_275_274 middle of the page. They are a little long so and will interfere if you run anti squat in the rear (front rear hingepin holder raised) I just run the hingepin holders flat on the chassis.

At the bottom of the page the 2 robinson racing 16t and 17t ones look like they are correct also.

The module is different between the Vendetta and Recoil. The Vendetta is not .5 mod

Some of the posts above are a bit confusing regards shaft sizes. Vendetta uses a 380 motor that has a shaft size of 2.3mm NOT 3.2mm. 2.3mm is the norm for 380-400 size motors (including the Permax 400 bl). 3.2mm is pretty much the same as 1/8 inch.

The Permax and Ammo i'm using are 3.2mm shaft diameter. The 2.3mm shaft permax 400 isn't listed in the catalog anymore. I don't think 2.3mm is the norm.

strodedawg

If you are looking for 2.3mm .5 mod try Venom though the pinions look like brass. Look here http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/WTI0096p?&N=N&C=&S=0000000&P=7&F=VNRC1755&L=VNRC10 51&S1=VENOM&S2=&S3=&S4=
at the bottom.

Default Factory Settings

Hi

Having just fitted turnbuckles to my Recoil, I've realised I did'nt have a record of the factory settings for front toe and camber, or rear camber. Can anyone help?
