You're the first person I've heard of that has had issues with the stock radio system. You're positive no-one else was on your frequency?
Just as an aside, a number of us are going to do some asphalt running with the Recoils tonight. It's too nice to be stuck inside on carpet. Looking forward to it, that's for sure!
Some one may have been on my Freq, I ask the whole place if some one was on my Freq, and no one answered, but sometimes people are working hard on thier cars and dont hear. At any rate I have the nomadio in it now so no more interference. Because I raced their last weekend and it did fine (with the exception of the spot in the back that has some interference with alot of am systems.)
Nice chassis but I personally won't turn this car into some $300 racer when it works fine stock. With the exception of electronics prefer to see the cars as close to stock as possible instead of dumping more and more money into it.

Bah, when is the "Pro Version" that has the upgrades w\o the RTR electronics gonna make an appearance

I agree. The graphite chassis just tightens up the handling a bit and gives it a little more precise of a feel. I have been running the graphite parts since January on my car they're really nice pieces.

Just got my Recoil a few days ago, i'v ran about 6 battery packs through the stock set up and i had my first problem.
The right Rear "wheel" has broken, i'v tryed many different glues to fix it with nothing to show.
I read on this forum that you can use the carisma wheels as a replacement, if so could i get a little bit more information.
When you use a Carisma wheel are you just putting fresh rubber on your Recoils stock rims? or will any of the Carisma Rims fit the recoil. This is my problem seeing that recoil tires/rims are out of stock currently on most of the sites.
Good luck with the mamba set-up. I had my 8000kv mamba in it and it was way over kill. I'm keeping mine stock TYVM and this way I can actually race it at the LHS. Are those Carisma bodies heavy hard plastic types? A sway bar kit would be the icein' on the cake for those lil' nimble beasties. Mine runs awesome and only problem I've had is the rear rim cracked. Oh and the brushes hang up in the motor every 4-5 minutes. Anyone have a trick to keep the stock motor brushes from hanging up??? Otherwise I love it and look forward to racing it, here she sits waiting!
