It was a blast. Didn't need to figure 8 it, the first corner was chaos. The energy drink trailer didn't survive the first corner. The Coke can has a RM mount with bearings all tucked up inside, crazy engineer over built that. The Sleeman can is mine and I won the first race. The Pepsi can is made with an Autoscale dummy chassis and the death race trailer had to have the dozen or so spikes removed before we started. It was a super fun day and I highly recommended it.

Hahaha! That's awesome.

QUESTION:
I was tossing out my MR03-S box yesterday and noticed on the box they listed a XSpeed Motor V as hopup. I thought the Sport models were limited to just the factory motor?

Heck, if I can get a tad more power out of my MR03-S that would be great! Anyone try this motor without burning up the ESC inside?

Thanks, big james. Is the 70t noticeably faster than the factory motor? (sorry for the newb question..)

I put off buying my RCP for quite some time, and then finally broke down and dropped the cash on a wide L about 2 years ago. I've been expanding since, and have no regrets. Save the dough and get one

Not RCP, but I run my Mini-Z's on rubber runners and they provide good traction. I have a lot of traffic in the basement where my track is located so wasn't sure how well the RCP would withstand getting shelves and large containers put on it temporarily while I moved stuff in and out of storage adjacent to the track.

Anything heavy that sits on it for any length of time will leave an impression. Impressions will usually go away after a bit unless the object was quite heavy and sat on the track for a lengthy period.

fastmax - Did you buy any curbs for your track? I run m-chassis on this track primarily and had to make curbs out of cable ducts as my Mini-Z's were getting caught on my plastic marker dots. Cracked 3 bodies in a month's time until I replaced the primary corners with my improvised curbs.

My track has the standard RCP rails. I use all sorts of different things for obstacles, and jumps. 90% of the running we do is 1/24 off road (Mini-Z Buggy, and Losi Truggies) I use foam blocks under the track to create elevation changes and banked turns, and marker dots on the track for moguls.

Here's a pic of my RCP rig

Ahh cool, offroad track!

When my kid drives his truck I place ramps and stuff too. Lately though, he's more and more into on roads.

I have on road Mini-Zs too, and we do run them on occasion. They are lots of fun. There's more interest in bumps and jumps within our club though so that's what we mainly run.
