I purchased this Kyosho Mini Z MFB01 Formula 1 McLaren Mercedes-Benz MP4-16 No.3 Mika Häkkinen a long time ago and is has rock hard, cracked tires. What is the exact replacement tire? I prefer rubber rather than foam is that is possible.

Thanks -

You'll want to get the MFT01-30R tires for the rear and the MFT01-30F tires for the front. Kyosho America has them in stock.

High Grip Front Tire(30°)
DIS - High Grip Rear Tire(30?)

I just picked up a PN Racing 70T motor for my M03 Sport. Do I need to add any external capacitors to the new motor, or can I run it as-is?

I appreciate any input.

The PN 70T can be used with the 03S without additional capacitors but the safety is questionable. Even PN states not to use it. An issue arises when connecting the motor leads to the circuit board. The eyelets on the motor wires are a bit large for the overall area which can lead to them coming in contact with a tiny component between the motor screw holes. If this occurs you will instantly release all the smoke from the PC board rendering it useless. The best solution is to cut the eyelets off the motor wires, strip the ends back on the wires and properly "tin" them. Then de solder the ends from the stock motor and re solder them to the 70T. Pay close attention when re installing the motor screws. when you insert the screw into the hole rotate it slightly to the left until you hear or feel it drop into the existing screw threads. Then tighten the screw. If you do not follow this procedure you will soon be replacing the chassis as you strip out the attaching points.

That's great feedback. I appreciate the response!
