Hey scalpel owners, we have the new leftside rear pod now availible. This will make it easier to get your motor out, easier to route your wires and more room for longer motors. it comes in red and is availible now. it retails for $18.50

Hey guys i just built my scalpel and its was a great easy builb but i have one problem i built the tie rods to factory specs with one at 3-4MM space between platics ends on one side and 13MM on the other, but for some reason my front toe it huge and i know this can not be right

How long of tie rods are you guys useing?? ball end to ball end?? here are some pics to get an idea of what im talking about

you have adjust your tie rods out to straighten your toe out.

Yea i know i feel kinda stupid tho, the manual says between the platics ends 4-5MM and the other side 13MM of space , and i set it up useing the space shown in the manual

I jsut checked it with a ruler, and turns on the space betweens the plastic peices in that manual are not to scale, i just grabbed a ruler and checked it

problem fixed!!! LOL, shouldnt have trusted the manual!!!

Anyways i just finished putting the car together and i gotta say it was a great and easy build, tomorrow ill install the ESC and solder everything up and paint the body ill post pics when im done

One thing i noticed there is alot of play in the arms??? is this normal??

yes there is play, you can make less play by buying the aluminum arms.

yes it is a big difference. the alum one is made to be tighter. if you need other stuf for your scalpel try my website www.browneng.org
