bigb11, that is pretty cool.

shadowau, u should talk to your LHS in australia about setting up an account to get scalpel parts. the US distributor has most of the parts in stock.

My LHS has no trouble getting Robitronic parts... but the scalpel just hasn't taken off here as much as the associated and xray stuff so the importer here just doesn't bother... or so I've been told

Do you plan to study a lipo based chassis for the Scalpel? Something like the Oval one but with 4 slots and a centered steering system...

we have thought about it, but I have never had a lipo pack in hand yet. we may add side slots to attach the lipo pack.

Maybe in the future... Honestly now it's really hard to find a interesting lipo for this scale... I see that SMC il studying a single cell lipo that could be interesting in a scalpel, all the others are under 1000 mAh

i am looking into the APOGEE lipo 1000mhn it is 32"x60"x15". it is 8.4v. would this be what you are looking for?
