Default Mini Speed 8 on 4 cell car

Does anyone have a picture of the mini speed 8 body mounted on a 4 cell chassis they can post?
I've knackered up my Robotronic body and need a replacement. I'm curious how much rear overhang there is on the speed 8.

Thanks, Lee_123.

Because I have 2 scalpels and 2 speed 8 bodies and that's where the wheels are on mine. If that were a 6 cell, the rear wheels would be much nearer the rear end. Imagine if that were a 6 cell, then imagine how that body would look on a 4 cell chassis, the wheels would be half a body length from the rear end, lol

Anybody happen to know if a Scalpel body would fit an M18?

Well the scalpel is much wider, so it will look, funny, to say the least. It will look like you put an M18 under a Scalpel body. It may fit, but I don't know for sure.

Just go on one18th.com and look up Homer, he makes home made bodies for the M18, some very similar to the scalpel body. There's also a guy on here, I forget his name, in the mini/micro forum, that makes his own bodies. He has the best I've ever seen.

the stock body is too short (only 130 mm wheelbase). the parma body may fit, but as stated before it wont be clean

Well, I was looking at this one:

http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXUYM0&P=0

SPECS: Length: 9" (229mm)
Width: 4.4" (112mm)
Height: 2" (51mm)
Thickness: .020" (0.51mm)

The size isn't far off from the touring bodies that fit the M18:

http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXMYM8&P=0

SPECS: Length: 11.25" (286mm)
Width: 4.75" (121mm) at center
Height: 3" (76mm) un-cut

Hey, Marvet. I've got another question for ya'. If I order the new race chassis off your site, can I also order the battery hold downs and hardware that came with the older chassis? I think I can make the older straps work by mounting them diagonally on the new chassis then use some plastic "stops" used on an Xray M18 or Exotek Tek18X chassis to keep the battery in place. Thanks again!!

Troy.
