good day folks
I am getting a scalpel and there's talk about the stock front tires not lasting too long... is there anyway I could avoid this with just CA glue or something similar or will I just have to cap them like everyone is talking about
thanks
Colin

What surface are you going to be running on? Are you running stock or brushless?
Well as the indoor season is coming to an end up here in Canada I will be racing on the asphalt and I might go brushless but I will stay at stock for now maybe until I get used to the car. What I think would be good is if one of the other tire manifacrtures such as Jaco and BSR would make a scalpel tire that would last as long as the average 1/10 scale tire
HERE IT IS! ITS CLEAR BUT YOU CAN SEE HOW NICE IT IS.

Those pictures are of a proto body that was in testing....The final finished version is all detailed out and will look great on your scalpel.....
HVAC25000, Patience.....You can't rush perfection!!!! Believe me, it's worth the couple extra days.....Are you racing yours at a local track or just running it for fun?

Sorry I can't help it, I'm a very impatient person, and I get excited easily.
Plus, having both the original and the lola body for the car, I know what crappy bodies they are and I know how much better the Parma body will be.
I'm only running it for fun, until a track opens up hopefully in a couple months. I'm a bit of an odd person, though. I worry more about the performance of my vehicles that I just run for fun than I do about the performance of my race vehicles.

You may want to contact InZaneracing.com as mentioned in post #613. Maybe they can hook you up with something that would work on asphalt. It would be interesting, though, if there was a way to cap them yourself with something like a thin liquid rubber and then re-true them on a tire truer. Hmmmmm, I may give that a try myself. Let us know what InZaneracing.com has to say. Good luck.
