m3 is the correct size, that is metric m3.

your local hardware store will have them. get yourself into the metric aisle and find a package of small m3 button head screws.

Default Mamba motor screws

Use hex heads 2.5x6 and 2.5x8 with 2 spacers per screw so the screws don't get tightened into the motor plate too far

Just checked mine- seems my rims could hit the ground and that I have plenty of room to 'scrape the chassis' Sure you have the right spacers?

I just ordered my car a few days ago. It was between the Scalpel and the M18Pro, hopefully I made the right choice.

My question is on the stock tires. It sounds like you all are using traction compound, and alot of it on the front. Our track is a relatively new RCP foam set-up, and they are not allowing the use of any traction compound. What has everyone's experience been running the tires "dry"? Will it work, what can I expect, and since this is the case, should I get that M18Pro on order as well?

Thanks guys.

I have ran the M18 not the pro but I am convinced there is no comparison. Two different cars totally. The Scalpel is just more fun to drive and reacts so much quicker. Think you made the right choice. As far as tires, we run on ozite carpet so I am not familiar with what you will be running on.
