Default Servo Saver

For all of you that are questioning STILL which servo saver works I have found and installed the HPI Micro RS4 Servo saver. http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXDHL1&P=7

Micro RS4 servo saver works well for Micro servos but if you get a sub-micro (like I did, something the size of the KO PDS-3014) you'll need to find something else.

Something went south in my KO, so I switched to the Airtronics 94091z.
Still using the Chaos saver on it. I cut the end off one of the kit horns for attachment of the tie-rods.

Hey Guys,

Just wanted to let people know that I have more Scalpels in stock today, and I know everyone is looking for tires, so today or tomorrow I will have my shipment of tires come in. I will post as soon as they come on because it will be a limited amount.

thanks,

Anyone out there wanting to make parts for this car, a motor pod that will allow more adjustment in the ride height. With the highest setting you can only wear about half the tire. I am at 3mm with half my tire left, seems to me I will run out of ride height before tire.

Leo is a great guy, a man of his word. I will buy all my Scalpel parts from him. Hopefully I won't break much.

Just wondering and probably no way of knowing but how many kits do you think have been sold in the US?

Default Scalpel performance

I have ran my car quite few times all ready and the tires in front are G O N E. Luckily I ordered a set from STICKS. They are on the way WOO HOO. Hopefully him and Stormer Hobbies gets the other compounds in soon I will grab those ASAP. The car with the Mamba 8000 is F A S T pushes a lot without traction compound but I double sauced the fronts and just sauced the rears once and the car turns pretty good also the HPI Micro RS4 Servo Saver works very good had an encounter with a corner and my servo was saved. I also noticed when I put the servo saver it there is pretty much no clearance between the chassis and the saver but it does not bind up and affect the steering. The car still tracks straight and true.

Latest Video from the KingDrome. Scalpels keep getting faster on our little track.

Also will a Mamba brushless motor run on a Tekin esc?
