A 5.5mm nut driver would be very handy.

this question is to all who driven the car. do you think it would handle better if it were 20mm longer? what is a starting spur/pinion combo?

Well thats no good....
Guess I will ask Hudy or integy to make a truer arbor for this car.
I think I make up a gig anyhow to make my truer work with these tires.
I think I am going to have tons of fun with this crazy thing....LOL

I have the Hudy truer for micro tires.... I wonder if it will work for these?...hmm
Please note that you must use the recommended servo from hitec. The ko propo and airtronics will not fit and you can no get a servo saver to work. I even fab a servo saver and the servo is not centered with stock drill holes.
Also note it is nearly impossible to fit tekin mini rage without removing it from the case.
The car was setup for standard micro brushed electronics.
I think the multiplex one will fit but to spend 70-80$ on servo for a 160$ car seems kinda of insane.
Well if any one would like to buy my scalpel it is for sale. It is brand new and assembled and the body is still clear....Never run and I will include a intellect 1400 battery for 170$ shipped.
A: The Multiplex is $50. (Ok after tax and such it may be $60)
B: Why cant you use a smaller servo? I have a small thread a few below this talking about wanting to use smaller digital servos for the m18 pro. It also has a cutout under the servo. But it should be pretty simple to cut a platform from kydex or thicker lexan to put underneath it. Or tapping/screwing some extensions onto the stock servo mounts.
C: You can get servo savers for the smaller servos. In example, Atomic, AE (with GPM metal C clip), and Sportwerks offer ones that fit.
It just takes a little bit a ingenuity. Im sure Duneland and others have already found ways.
i just put mine together and thought it was great, i had a c4 9200 kv motor layin around and it went in there without the motor mount, just had to get a different size screw for the motor and it worked
that is without the brushless motor mount, the c4 has like 3 sets of holes. i still want to get the brushless motor mount because at my lhs we race the 180 motors as a stock class.
