Thanks for the compliments... much appreciated.

The body I have on my MIST is the stock Kyosho body without the lower shell. The KMRC chassis I'm using is narrower than the stock chassis or any of the other hopup chassis on the market. So it will allow you to use the stock body without using the lower half shell. I hope that makes sense.

The wheels are Team Losi Mini LST dish wheels. You'll also need to use Mini LST wheel hexes. The tires are from a DuraTrax Mini Quake. I have one set with the street tires and another set with some pinned tires for offroad. I got the wheels from Ebay, the tires I got from Tower. The Mini LST wheels had to be narrowed.

Check out this thread... it has a lot of info about my MIST:

My Mini Inferno ST

Let me know if you have anymore questions...

Thanks,

Mike

I'm running a 13T pinion (Team Associated). I had to grind the lower slot on the motor mount in order to run this smaller pinion. The grinding is needed to allow the motor to move inwards more. Also the spur and the pinion don't align vertically completely but I haven't had any problems.

They aren't that hard to tune. If you have tuned the motors in the 1/8 & 1/10 vehicles then you shouldn't have any problems with it.

The 09 is faster then the stock Half8. I think they are pretty close in speed when you add a lipo battery & brushless to the Half8.
