There should be a plastic insert/sleeve that goes into each hole in the rear deck. I'm not sure where you can get those by themselfs. You can try buying a cheap graphite deck on ebay that comes with them. Maybe hardcore still has them available. I'm not sure if hardcore is even around still.
Roy - were you ever able to find another source of lipo batteries for the exo3??
I had a cell take a dump after the NJ Challenge in July :x and that was an adventure finding the apogee pack I did run...
if you want, you can post it here or shoot me an email
thanks
kaybo
I thought I posted the link where I got my lipo here, but it was on the now defunct one18th.com and lost now. I'll poke around and see if I can find the receipt.
Hobby Products International or HPI of Foothill Ranch, California, USA is a manufacturer of on- and off-road radio-controlled cars, both electric and nitromethane powered. In 2005 HPI merged with Hot Bodies, another company owned by Mr. Watanabe, which initially began manufacturing bodies and upgrade parts for the HPI RS4 Pro 3.Today, they produce a wide range of radio control cars, trucks and buggies, plus accessories. Many of the plastic suspension pieces for the Hot Bodies Cyclone, their top-level electric touring car, come from HPI's Pro 4.

Do you work for HPI? Is there a reason you felt the need to share this information with us? I'm pretty sure most of us has read that snippet from the HPI web site since we all own a HPI product.
I just recieved a box full of MRS4 parts and a few complete rolling chassis that I am going to build into a spec fleet to race at my local track-stock crappy motor, and a mediocre 5 cell pack.
In the big box of stuff, I got a couple of the stock RTR "pro control" esc's but I noticed that they dont have a one toch button or anything like that
is there some way to set these things up to a new radio or are they just supposed to work the way they are?

Those Esc's are just plug and play. Just plug it up and turn it on and off you go.
what do you have to do to mount Xray M18 wheels to a MRS4 car? I am tired of having my wheels slide off so i want to be able to use a nut liek the xrays do. Can someone please help me...

Some people glue the wheels into the inner wheel. Then drill out the center of the outer wheel to get access to the nut. This works really well, but you need to buy lots of inner wheels and you can't switch wheels between the front and back.
I take a thin strip of lexan about 1/8" wide and loop it inside the outer wheel. Then I put the outer wheel on the inner wheel with ribs and slots miss aligned. This jambs the wheels together really tightly and the lexan strip keeps the wheel at a wide setting.
The x-ray pro wheel setup won't fit up without some modification. I'm really not sure if it can be done or not.
