The RC18T is the stadium truck and the RC18B is the buggy. Basically the difference is the style of body, and the buggy comes with different shock towers, wing mounts, and a wing. Basically it boils down to preference.
And yes, there are numerous ways to install a wing. You can use the 18T shock tower and just put the wing mounts on it (may need to cut the body a bit to fit them). You can also make your own using a Vendetta wing mount. Or, simply cut out the flat lexan spoiler that comes with the stadium truck style bodies and fasten it to the rear of the truck body. There are many ways to do it
Ok thanks.
I think I'll change my question a bit,
what is the difference between rc18t and 18b in performance? I'm going to ride a bit on-road (not mucH) and on a dirt track.

This is what I'm ordering:
RC18T FT kit.
Yeah Racing Combo 2x 7.4v 1700 mah lipo
3Racing Nylon spur (55t and 59t)
GPM Alloy spur (54t)
EZrun 5200kv motor combo for rc18
Atm Carbon Steel 12t pinion.
I'm buying servo in a store, or try to get my old to fit.
Is there anything more I need/should buy while I'm first ordering? Any recommended items?

Hey guys. My neighbor just brought over his RC18T RTR. He wants to go brushless but me and him dont know what KV to get. I told him to get the Castle Combo. Either Pro or Sport. Were are thinking 6800 or 5400. He uses Ni-MH batteries and it has stock gearing. Its currently has a 7 cell 1400 but he did have the 6 cell stock one. Either one is pretty much an option I guess.
What motor KV do you recommend?
He loves to bash, mainly a basher but he would also like to take it on the local 1/8 indoor track and bash it with the Nitro 1/8 buggies. They do have a electric night which would be better for the life of the 18T but Im saying its a good size 1/8 scale clay track.
While the same respect we dont want to burn the motor up while bashing around the house.
What upgrades will be needed with this brushless?
Im guessing driveshafts.

I would recommend the 5400kv motor. The 6800 will need som upgrades.
The two things that is smart to have when you go brushless is the MIP CVD axles, and the vicous diffs.

I want to try this out ! do u guys think a futaba s9450 would fit or work on the rc18r? i want to try it lol
If it is a micro servo it could work.
I bought the hs56hb servo, I'm sure that fits so I didn't need to order/buy any new servo tomorrow when I get the car. I wanna race it as fast as possible
