From MIP there is a spool and a one-way spool. I have the one-way spool, so I'm not sure what a "traditional" spool would do.
Yep it lets it run like a 2wd thru the corner and then pull like a 4wh anytime you are on throttle. Downsides are you lose braking from the front wheels and the rear can slide out if you hammer the brakes just like a 2wd.

The losi xx4 had a sweet clicker system. You could tighten or loosen the front one way effect with the turn of a nut. Was a pretty slick setup.

Anyone mount the KO PDS-3101 ICS servo in the R? Thinking of switching to this. Any issues?

I won a 900 mah 15C lipo off ebay for under ten bucks. Dang thing is amazing in the little truck. Half the size of a nimh batt and more power. Haven't seen how long it's lasted yet b/c I only drive for a bit at a time in the basement. Will give it a time test sometime in the spring when the snow is gone.

Watched it.

It's called a suspension. It's supposed to move up and down.

That was painful, couldn't watch it.
So you will have to describe your problem in more detail.
Download the manual and you will probably be able to figure it out on your own.

Yea, that would be the steering bellcrank, it's a real pos. Here's a couple fixes

1.The DP drag link here, http://www.thetoyz.com/cart/thetoyz_...7&cat_name=%27

2. Get the Xray servo saver and use the metal ring in the kit, it will slip over the stock plastic ring and tighten things up quite nicely.

Well it IS supposed to be sloppy like that, that's just part of it's flawed design. Now does that make i right? No, no it doesn't, but it is what it is.

Typing words out and not using run-on's will make your posts a lot easier to read. Just a suggestion, because I had NO clue what you were talking about at first

I stumbled through it, the you-tube link was what did it for me though.

Why not for bashing?
