Yeah my diffs are tight as hell so IDK what the problem is.

Ill try to get those turnbuckles off so that I can reverse that thing.

Is it just me, or does it look like he's got about 5-degrees of postive camber on both sides as well as a incredible amount of toe-out adjusted into it ?????

Just looking at it I'm surprised the car even rolls at all, let alone wondering if it crabs down the road all catawhomapus crooked.

And the bellcrank/steering crossbar is still cocked crooked; the servo is still pushed forward in the mount. Doesn't look like you never fixed it from the first time you were having problems with the steering binding.

Did Ray Charles build this car?

Did Ray Charles assemble this car?

Haha, i havent drove it like this. This is just what it looked like after I tore it apart and put it back together with new turnbuckles.

I have it completely torn apart right now and Im going to put it back together.

With your steering links, they should not be the same length as the others. The steering links are supposed to be a few mm longer. The picture in the manual is wrong but it tells you the correct length.

I still have yet to replace anything on my 18r and have been racing every week since October.

My 18t I raced for 4 weeks and broke 1 a arm.

Both vehicles are excellent. In my opinion, the 18r is more durable due to shorter arms, and a shell that protects everything!

Nothing at all,they are identical.
My club has them as a spec class and you can run any of the four variants.
We can only change gearing, shock oil, springs (genuine parts only) and rx.They seem to be pretty decent, the servo seems a bit weak i must say,but i put a drop or two on the servo saver, that seems to help its centering ability.
If you don't race or are allowed to change servo, there are plenty of options ,with info in this forum if you use the search tool.

Your servo mount is backward in your pic. That is allowing the servo to slide forward and causing the ball link on the right steering turnbuckle to bind against the top plate/diff housing. That's probably why it won't turn right and might explain the servo's "humming". The servo mount has a small pin on the front/underside that should hook over the front/top corner of the servo to keep the servo from sliding forward. With the servo mounted properly, the bellcrank link that everyone is talking about being crooked, will be perpendicular to the centerline of the chassis.

Seems as if you might be trying to get things done too quickly and should step back and take a break.

Wait, I had it the other way but someone told be it was backwards.

Now I dont know who to listen to.

On another note, I just got things put together and it works like a charm, minus the slow acceleration.

Default RC18r!! i neeeed alot of parts!

Okay well i was racing yesterday and well lets just say taht i had foams in the back and rubber in the front worked rlly good but the steering is terrible

I need a servo that is cheap and is better than the stock 1 (I CANT USE RLLY GOOD SERVOs for stock class) just something that can keep in centered

And if im running stock do i need like new diffs and stuff? or just foam tires and threaded shocks? TY!

That's weird
What reason would you have had to replace the other new turnbuckles that you originally installed 2 days ago?

If you had looked at your manual, you would have ignored the other guy who told you WRONG. The mount is designed in a way to hold down on the front of the servo to keep it from flexing and moving from all the stress from the steering links flexing under load from landing jumps and things.

+1

I heard someone say long ago, "if you don't have the patience to work carefully and slowly and insist on doing it right the first time, and have to ask every time you screw things up, either you're going to have a hell of a time with this hobby or you should find an easier one."

I don't see how it could work really good and steer terribly at the same time.
