Sorry if this has been addressed before, but I did search. Thanks in advance.
There is a round nub that sticks out the vendetta mount and this squeezes into the truck tower ,middle hole the screw goes right in,the side holes require you to file a little on the tower for the screws to go in.

Is there a spring set for the 18R? I am looking for various spring rates and was wondering if there is a set that can be purchased from somewhere?

I run the silver 18t rear springs in the front and rear of my 18r and works best for me.

Do you run them at full length or did you cut them?

Default RC18T antennae mounting question (noob ?, but I'm new)

Ok, here comes the biggest noob question of the year, I’m REALLY new into r/c, so I’m clueless here. On my RC18T, I’m having trouble mounting the antennae. No matter how I do it, it just falls out of the hole and flops around. I couldn’t fish it through the tube, so I just wrapped it snugly around the tube and put some scotch tape around it in one or two places, how in the world do I get it to stay in the hole? I tried trimming it at an angle to allow it to fit next to the wire in the hole, but it doesn’t seem to work. Any ideas/advice? Thanks in advance.

you need to lube the antenna wire and it will push through the tubing very easy.....
you can use silicone spray, wd-40, soap .....

I personally route it on the outside of the tube in a coil then I put shrink tube over it and use a heatgun and shrink the wire onto the tube for an awesome fit.

To keep the antenna tube from slipping out of the mount, take a 3/4 inch piece of fuel tubing and squeeze it onto the antenna mount and then wet the tube slightly and slide it into the fuel tubing and finally work it into the mount.
To get the antenna wire to snake into the antenna tube, straighten the wire as much as possible by sliding it through your fingers a few times and then blow a little saliva into the tube. The antenna wire should now slide easily enough through the tube and the saliva will evaporate within a day.

Default Funny grinding sound, RC18T

I was running my 18T today, it’s brand new, and all of a sudden it started making this funny grinding sound, like something was rubbing somewhere or something. It did it for a bit, and then stopped. And then it came back, and for the LIFE of me, I can’t figure out what is causing it. Any ideas?

Check your spur and pinion gear.If you were running outside, more them likely you got a little rock in the mesh.If not that check your gear lash in your gear boxes.check the back diff first. One last thing. You may get more/better responses if you just search for the thread that pertains to your particular car, and ask there instead of making multiple threads about the same car.

I can't SEE anything in the spur/pinion for what it's worth..

Can anyone give me the “idiot’s, step by step” idea on how to tighten up the diffs in my RC18T? They are clicking badly, I JUST got this truck and ran it for the first time today and within 1 run, they started clicking and I don’t see any debris in the spur/pinion.
