That's a great video! He is using the extended body mounts that I mentioned. Sure you could always use velcro, duct tape or mighty putty...whatever. Choice is yours on how to mount it, as you can see there's many options on how to do it and yes it does look good.

It doesn't have kick-up though, so it wouldn't be the best on jumps.

Was mainly looking to stretch the wheelbase by about 1cm or so. I don't think the R18 does it by much.

What benefit were you thinking that 1cm was going to give you?

Thomas P,
I love your Youtube videos and your build threads. I've got a question. You're running 0 degrees toe in the rear? You need an aftermarket toe block for this? (3Racing?) Are you running them flipped for the extra anti-squat? I don't mind having the toe adjustments but always wondered if the alloy blocks can be flipped like the plastic one.

Neither, its a stock associated motor hooked up to a Novak Micro GT. I run the car in a Spec class on RCP. For the spec class we can only run the stock associated motor and any 5 cell battery pack.

Here is my RC18MT that I got for $50 and upgrades a little over the 3 weeks I've had it so far. I broke a turnbuckle off a 4 foot jump that I landed on the rear tire. Yesterday I was getting some nice 10+ foot backflips and double front flips.

I was asking which people prefer. The mongoose or the mamba.

Oh sorry, I would go with the mongoose if price isnt the issue. Otherwise you would still be happy with the mamba for the price.

I've read about people running Vendetta wing mounts on their RC18B/T. How do I go about this? I got the mounts already but not sure what to cut (the towers)? I have both the B(uggy) and T(ruck) towers. Which should I use? Don't really want to make a mistake with the dremel so thought I'd ask first. Sorry if this has been addressed before, but I did search. Thanks in advance.

I ended up buying an aluminum tower from ebay that had RC18T body mounts but also the wing mounting hold drilled into it. Then from there you can go with the stock RC18B wing mounts or I would suggest the aluminum wing mounts you can find on ebay ( stock ones broke on me ). An for the vendetta wing all you will need to do is redrill 2 holes as the rc18b wing mounts are narrower than the vendetta. I'll try to post pics of mine tomorrow.
