Awesome package, great for what you're intending it for.

Is there a stretched chassis conversion kit that uses a long battery pack instead of a saddle pack? I'm tempted by the Tek18X but if I prefer a chassis that shares batteries with my other 1/18 buggy (Tamtech gear buggy champ).

Default Baja body for RC18T?

Just wondering if they make a “baja beetle” style body for the RC18T, and if not, if they have any other aftermarket bodies other than the Jconcepts one. I can’t find many online. Also, can the Mini-T baja body be modified to fit the 18T?

They don't make a beetle body for the 18t but yes the Losi one will work with some slight modifications to the truck. Here's a few more offerings from various companies...

What kind of mods would I have to do to the truck to make the Losi Beetle body fit?

http://www.exotekracing.com/EXOTEK_N...ONVERSION.html is another product from exotek, they say that it will work for the t/b versions as well.

Wow, and that's all I need to make the Mini-T Baja body fit on my RC18T? I haven't really seen many people do this. Do you think it will look ok?

The 3racing shocks are nice. They're a bladder type shock like the 18t shocks. They build nice, stay smooth and don't require as much maintenance as the stock 18t shocks though. Also the Losi oil filled Mini-T shocks are great if you don't mind using the adjustment clips (not a threaded shock). They're a cartridge type shock and are super smooth and really low maintenance too. It's a matter of personal preference.

Yes, You'll have to implement something to mount the rear body mount in the rear tower on the 18t. Just about any random piece of plastic can be made to do the trick.

I think it looks good. There use to be tons of threads on it on one18th about it but that site closed and I'm having hard time finding an image to show you. Maybe if you look around you'll have better luck finding something more on it. it's been done before

Sounds awesome, now I just gotta find one for sale. They seem to be a little tricky to find these days.

I picked up the 350 body over the weekend. Looks great! Hope to have it ready for Friday Night racing.

Actually you don't need to do any of that at all, all you need is some sticky-back velcro to apply to the sides of the tub and the bottom edge of the sides of the body.
The losi Baja Bug body fits quite nicely, I've seen various renditions of it done using the RC18T/B or Vendetta many times.
Since losi only recently discontinued the Baja there should be plenty of the unpainted bodies floating about and available at many distributors.
