Ok, here is the deal...the car is performing REAL good, our track have real big jumps, but a GOOD flow. but my car if i do a little longer jump, so i miss the landing, or even a smaller jump, after landing, the car can suddenly change direction i mean it bumps up...are,or my car to hard, soft, less pack, more pack? any tip here?
sometimes, or i think it IS, twitchy, little nervous on stering, not sure, i think it is after it is offpower or it is after landing, and it change direction...
what i WANT is, to have my car to soak up the landing better..but this track have some HUGE jumps and the car is little...

By the looks of your track it appears you're going for bigger air than these cars were ever intended for, which could be a major part of the problem. Oftentimes our expectations for these little cars are more than they can handle.
Your basic set-up looks OK, but as far as it being "twitchy" you might want to check the toe adjustment. IMO a miniscule bit of toe-out could help with that, along with changing over to Blue Rear springs. Matching f/r springs will make it twitchy.
you said you're running pro c castor blocks, if you're talking about the exotek ones try going back to stock castors blocks. my opinion is the exotek ones give you more on power steering, or try running the short front camberlink. i would also suggest a softer spring in the rear.
have you tried rubber tires yet? on my buggy i use losi street meets and i use crc 1/12th magenta foam donut as an insert.

Just installed a HS-65mg servo in my rc18. I am having problems with it glitching. It turns to the left fine but sometimes it only turn 1/2 way to right. also when I turn the car on, the servo starts glitching back and forth a very small amount just like its spazzing out or w/e. It also get hot after only a few minutes of bashing around.
I use a spectrum dx3r with 3000 receiver. I dont know if I just have a bad servo or what.
Thanks for any advice!

I should have asked on this thread instead of starting a new one on the main forum. I did a search but couldn't find an answer.
I'm planning to run a mamba 6800 in my RC18B on a carpet track. Should I upgrade the diffs to the MIP super diffs, or will the plastic ones with the reinforcing sleeves last a long time?

As geeunit said, as long as you build them correctly, and maintain them, the stock diffs should be fine.
But unless you're running a pretty large carpet track you might want to think about a 5400kv motor instead of a 6800 as it will be a lot more usable and controllable.
Lookin to upgrade my shocks as the ones I have on my used RC-18 leak oil out badly. I used some teflon tape to keep it from leaking but they are worn and I just wanna replace them.
Was wondering if anyone had any suggestions as to what you use or what you have had bad experience with.
thanks,
J

Everything leaks badly if you don't rebuild them, replacing the o-rings and stuff, from time to time.
Are there any "upgrade" shocks out there that would produce a noticeable improvement in handling or should I just rebuild mine?
IMHO, no!
We're talking very small shocks and though others do exist, the basic design and performance varies little. The great thing about the AE shocks is that they're fairly easy and quick to rebuild and rebuild kits are cheap and easy to come by, something that can't be said by most of the others.
