Which hitec servo are you using? And, did you have any trouble getting it installed in the Diggity chassis? I've been running the Diggity chassis on a carpet oval for awhile and love it. I just need to upgrade to a better servo from the stock one.

I'm using an HS65HB. I'm not far enough into the project for the servo install but I can tell I'll need to tweak one of the holes (the outer one) a very little bit. I had been using a stock servo and it was a monster upgrade

Thanks for the quick reply. One thing I would recommend on the Diggity setup. Get yourself a set of 3racing suspension arm mounts, especially on the front. Since I race oval, I use 3 degrees in front and 0 in the rear.

Thanks for the tip! I'm just in the build process and I did put aluminum pin mounts in the front as per Diggity recommendation as a starting point. I might pick up a few different arm mounts for experimentation. Our carpet season is coming up and I'm really amped up about it this year

The oval that I'm racing on is best described as a flat Bristol. The straights are only maybe 40 feet long. We turn about 90 laps in a 5 minute race. I first started out the a zero degree mount in the front. The car had a lot of understeer with it. When I went to the stock 3 degree's the understeer was completely gone. It actually turned into the corners too well.

I figured there would be a difference in the steering especially on carpet but didn't think there would be an understeer issue. Thankfully we'll have some test/tune time before the season really get going. Our track is pretty tight with a straight about the same length as yours. Are you using the stock diff's or upgrades? I have a pair of MIP's on order.

Other than the Diggity Chassis, my car is pretty much a box stock Factory Team. My next project is to build a Super Late Model for this season. I'm planning on getting the Diggity oval chassis, sway bars, LRP Fusion motor, Tekin B1 ESC, plus a few other things. My current late model is pretty fast with a stock motor (current track record holder), but I wanna see what a car that is really prepped for oval racing would do.
