hi all , new to 18th scale and bought an rc18b super fun car

i built a supercross style track to run on and it gets pretty rutted out with 4-5 rc18's blasting around

i wore out the rear outdrives in one week or about 50 packs run through it

i switched to mip super diffs and cv's problem solved

steering sucked so i did the shock spring mod and smoked the stock servo fast so upgraded to the hitec hs56 and dp draglink steering is great now

the next weak point of the car to address are the stock shocks they wont hold oil for more than two battery packs now . i was in the lhs and saw they had losi mini-t race shocks , these look really nice with Ti coated shafts and hard ano bodies , 4 shocks are 25 bucks

has anyone put these losi shocks on their rc18 ? what do i need to get or do to run these shocks ?

thanks in advance

hey Dan, just a heads up...I'm currently using the Hyperion packs from Bishop Power Products that fit real well. The MaxAmps packs fit also.

Can anyone help? I want to put a wing mount on my 18t and i'm not sure what everyone is using. When we do our supercross seasons i would use regular wings that you servo tape on or ca glue them to the body and they don't last long at all. Any help would be appreciated.

I had the RC18B wing mounts on my 18T but they were too flexy, so I got the vendetta wing mounts on mine.

I use the Vendetta wing mount also , its pretty tough and has stood up to some really hard tail first landings . I snapped the RC18B wing struts off the first time I landed on the wing .

Default Diggity Chassis conversion for 18T

Just purchased an 18T chassis kit from Diggity and will be beginniing the conversion next week. I'll be posting pics and updates along the way so if anyone else is doing this conversion, has done it, or is interested in doing the conversion follow along and any/all words of wisdom are appreciated! Here are a few of my 18T after disassembly, during, and the kit itself!!

Nice vid , that P/P was keeping up surpisingly well with the RC18 . But it was pretty easy to spot the one with the Mamba system in it

I run my RC18 on my full sized track and it handles it pretty well and I can jump some pretty big jumps with it .

I have went back to all plastic and have fallen in love with my RC18 all over again , did some suspension tweaking and got some super diffs and she's running sweet !
