thier prices arent that bad but shipping could kill somebody but i had never had a problem with these guys i would rather spend the extra money and know i will be recieving my stuff
If I order the spur cover, drag link, spring cups and wheel adapters its $20 for parts that easily fit in a $4 priority box, if it was like $8 I say ok, but come on.

Does anyone besides thetoyz sell the driven products? I don't feel like getting bent over by their shipping prices.
We have a LHS that handles the link but for what they mark it up plus tax, it's cheaper to order it with shipping I've seen it available on ebay too but the cost is similar.
so I got my mamba 6800 today and my RPM blue bumper shock towers and A arms!!! SWEET I should get my drag link tomorrow, good thing the freakin truck can't go in a straight line to save its life hahaha. So question my car sounds like crap I have a 13 pinion and whatever the stock one is in the FT kit? any help here what should I be running pinion/spur with the 6800? Also metal spur gear? I have heard they are noisy but I can't imagine this stock one will last long. Anything else i should get come on guys help me build the dream truck

I got mine from toyz on ebay it was 12.99 I think with shipping for the drag link...... if it works as well as I have heard here it will be WELL worth it
If its too loud = mesh is too tight
wheels dont sping = mesh is too loose
you should be able to rock the spur gear in between the teeth of the pinion without it moving[/quote]
see I can do that, the wheels don't spin, it is really loud though. I have the motor as far as it will go over and then some I had to dremel out a little plastic just to get it where it is now!!! I really like this truck but AE really screwed up a couple things on it, like steering!!! hahaha
I disagree, I think that the steering system is very effective and simple, but yes it is sloppy but people have covered up for this and it is very easy to fix.
I didnt like the motor mounting system either, I can run a spur higher than 55 (not that I want to) because I cant get the mesh right.
Overall best 1/18 there is!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Its Associated

My RC18T has not 1 single hop-up/aftermarket peice besides the drag link and gear cover.
Ive done the o-ring mod and it helps too.
My electronics go as follows:
LRP A.I runner reverse
Super 370 ($12 stock motor and Im running 15/55 and Im faster than my friends mamba 5400)
Hitec HS-56hb
Spektrum micro rx
If you want my setup I can pm you, its for a 60% clay track with a fine layer of sand ontop with very little grip.
PS!!!!!! IF ANYONE HAS VENDETTA WING MOUNTS I WANNA BUY THEM OFF YOU!!!
im getting replacement diff gears will up grade later
is it worth gettin the FT
next time i might go for the FT truck or a vendetta i heard they have alot of room and the gears are all covered so no rocks get in
i got a dremel branded dremel today so im happy
also im thinking of getting the rpm blue front bumper
does it make a difference with jumper like extra weight in the front

Wooo dremels are cool, which one did you get? I got the 400xpr
ALSO! Anyone know if the vendetta wing mounts are a direct fit onto the
RC18T?
BTW chris Ive had no problems with stones in the diff housings, only minor dirt but it doesnt affect anything. I used to have problems with tiny stones in the spur getting lodged, but I ran my car with the dp gear cover and St.Ives the other day (the track has like 2cm thick layer of sand ontop) and I didnt have a single problem.
Today I installed an RPM bumper, arms, shock towers. Also installed my mamba 6800! I have the drag link coming anytime now in the mail. My only problem is I can t seem to get my pinion close enough to my spur gear!!! Has anyone else had this problem? I have the FT motor mount, it is is close as it can get without having to dremel some plastic.
So after all this work and I can't drive it because I don't want to burn up the spur.
