Does anyone make a cover for the spur? just bashing in the backyard I pick up a lot of little dirt pieces.

DP Products makes a spur gear cover. Here's the link to it.

ok guys I have a question I am going to get the MIP super Diff for my truck. I got my truck assembled already...... but sence it is 4WD I need to get 2 of these right? Sorry about the noob question. I am trying to get it ready for the brushless I am dropping in it shortly.

Whats the best brushless system to put in the rc18t?

I want a system like the aon 4900 and nothing bigger than the mamab 6000.

But what about the tekin systems?

I want something with no cogging or anything, I need it to feel as smooth to brushed as possible and not incredibly crazy.

prob the comp package from mamba the comp x is just plain out out of control fast so how bout the steering slop any answers anybody

Utah, you would need two of the MIP super diff packages. One set for each diff.

I just bought an delrin steering drag link by Driven Productions, I should be getting it in the mail in the next day or two. Has anyone used one of these? and how much did it help with the loose steering problem?

you wont get a brushed feel out of ANY brushless motor...

Just replacing the linkage with the DP piece will be a HUGE improvement

After that there are a few things to do with the stock servo saver that helps also. I ground a shallow groove around ours and put an o-ring to tighten things up too. Another racer used a piece of spring instead of o-ring. You may have to remove some material from the frame under the servo saver if the o-ring doesn't clear.
