Associated needs to get on the ball with these spare parts (bones, arms, links). The 18R is selling like crazy but we need parts to keep people racing!

The bones and arms as of now aren't an issue, but the links are defective. They are breaking on the ballcup portion from even light contact with anything.

Here locally have created an Out of Box Stock 18R on-road class... only ride height, shock oil, and shock angle for adjustment) and it is nearly one of our biggest classes now already and we would have several more in the class except they are afriad to get one right now due to lack of parts. In fact we have 1 or 2 sidelined because of it.

As usual Associated has come up with a great product. Please supply the parts to keep us racing it!

Great point!.... Although when they are available, you better have your mouse finger ready, cause that first batch is going to go fast.

I'd put that $50 plus the price of a new esc towards a Mamba

T1,
That is not the optimum way of treating your batteries. The best way to go is to discharge them after you use them and before recharging them. That being said, You will not hurt the pack with your repeak. Just keep your charging amps under 2 amps and you will be fine.

Quinton,
I agree with you about the brushless but the question was what was the best brushed motor.

Will this effect my run time at all if i repeak them again?

By repeaking you are increasing the voltage and therefore increasing your punch at the start of the race. If the packs you are running are 1100 or better you should not have any run time issues.

We have a bunch of 10th scale on roaders that race micros with us and they charge their batteries at 3 amps. I used to charge at less, but have been charging at 3 for the past 6 months with the same packs.
I also charge after each 5 min. qualifier. While I practice, I try to run them all the way down.
I have seen no drop off at all in my packs (IB1400) in fact, after the 2nd charge of the race, the batteries are at their best.

Just my experience.

I discharge at 10 amps. If you are still using the stock connectors it is not recommended to go that high as you may melt the connectors. If you have adjustable discharge amperage you may want to stay around 5 with stock connectors.
