I believe some tried that one when the 18T first came out and it didn't work either, but I don't recall why. Anyone here try it?

Me to. 1100mah 8.4v 7 cell race 71 URC pack, mamba 6800, soon a new steering servo and reciever, others got fried, all aluminum and graphitew when done, with wing and more. And I also have some more things on it, just simple things like MI wheels and stuff.

Hey rc rager,
Your car looks cool are the Proline MI crimies with velocity wheels? I just ordered some of them should be here this week my local offroad track is to rough for stock wheels. I have also ordedd another FT kit diggity chassis and monotuning wide track arms to set up for hardcore road racing

Hre are a few pics of my modded 18t. These pics are a little older. the servo now sits where the stock on did, the receiver was moved to the other side of the car where is sits with four cells, the other two cells sit between the motor and servo on the other side.

Jr 3550 servo, Mamba 25 esc, ib 1400's, Moddod jr receiver and e-go hi speed brushless motor.

Just wanted to let all you Associated 1/18th scalers know about the conversion kits that Diggity Designs sells for the Associated RC18T, 18B, and 18MT kits. The kits are 3mm quasy carbon fibre one piece chassis kits thats include a 3mm carbon fibre top-plate and battery brace, aluminum inner pin blocks and all hardware and instructions to complete the conversion.
