OK guys (and gals), this was your cue to convince me that I really do need a Factory Team RC18B. Now get to work.

with FT kit you get to paint your buggy so you can tell which one is yours in a race.

lets do some math
rtr $150 www.killerhobbies.com

FT kit $130
motor $30 and up
esc $50 and up
servo $20 and up
rx $70 and up
battery $15 and up
(paint, oil, ca glue, ds tape $25)
You need at least $350 to make the FT a reality......
not very convincing....

I'm not sure why you'd extend it.. it's worth a try just to experiment. But, the rear is already too light and that would make less weight on the axles. But, hey.. sometimes the opposite thing does what you want.

thanks for the response.. anyways i was just wondering because i just got an 18t lastnight exactly at midnightand i work for teambrood so i have a ton of lipo's at my disposal from vxr . i noticed the 11.1v overheats the esc so it goes into safe mode.. so i grabbed the same mah pack that was a 2 cell 7.4mah and its pretty sweet. so thanks for the quick response.

OK, I already have a JR RS310 receiver, and plenty of paint.

How is this math?

$134.99 RC18B FT
19.99 Duratrax 1400mAh Battery
4.79 Airtronics Mini-T Servo Saver
8.99 Freight
-25.00 Tower rebate
$143.76 Total of order #!

$118.99 Mamba Brushless
29.99 Airtronics 94091Z Micro Servo
6.09 (2) Deans Ultra Plug
8.99 Freight
-25.00 Tower Rebate
$139.06 Total of order #2

$282.82 Total of both orders

versus

$172.99 RC18B RTR
8.99 Freight
-25.00 Tower Rebate
$156.98 Total of order #1

$118.99 Mamba brushless
19.99 Duratrax 1400 mAh Battery
12.36 (4) Deans Ultra Plug
8.99 Freight
-25.00 Tower Rebate
$135.33 Total of order #2

$292.31 Total of both orders

So.... for about $10 LESS I can have a Factory Team brushless RC18B!!

OK, I know I could e-bay the radio and ESC... but work with me here, I'm trying to justify a FT!!

I don't get your question. A FT is $10 cheaper... nuff said.
I would skip the duratrash battery and get a lipo or GP though
