guys im having major trouble with my steering....It keeps coming off centered.. I have a thick servo steering spring..I am running the Exotek chassis with hitec 65mg servo...I dont want to crank down on the servo nut too tight but it is snug....What causes the servo to keep off centering? It will either pull to the right very hard or to the left????

Are you running the stock motor or brushless? I have a 7800kv brushless on mine and it runs straight on full throttle, but once I let off the throttle, it veers hard to the left. My guess is that it is torque steer of some kind. With the stock motor, it did it a little bit, but not that bad.

I run brushless. It will run straight until I crash. And then my wheels will be turned to one direction....Maybe the servo nut is backing off and I may need to use locktight

Maybe the crashing has something to do with it?

Check the play in all of your links. Be sure to also check your servo itself and rotate the spline to see if there is play there as well.

Sounds like the spline teeth on the servo horn could be slightly stripped. I had that problem to where if I hit something while steering it would jump a few teeth and just got worse and worse...take $10 and replace all the steering parts...

hot-racing sells 1,2, & 3 degree. It's probably 3 degree.

I got my rc18t today and the esc/receiver seems off as the motor always runs ans the tx only changes the speed slightly not stopping it
