Sounds like the other guys need to use traction compound. They are probably getting loose because they aren't saucing their tires and their tires are picking up the gunk that has adhered to the soda.

Anyone know how to program the stock esc with the RC18T? I just recently bought a used one for my 3 year old son, and I'm looking to tune it down if possible. It's got a fireball motor in it right now, but I did just pick up a new stock motor for it. He's got a very heavy throttle finger, so I need it to go much, much slower Any suggestions

use a 4 cell or 1s lipo to cut down on the power the motor gets, I've seen this suggested other places when you want a child to learn to drive an rc, depending on your radio you can also adjust it to prevent full throttle

I'm using the stock radio that comes with the RTR, so there's not too much adjustability. I don't want to upgrade the radio as my son has been known to throw things when he gets frustrated The battery thing sounds good though for now. I'll have to try that out. Atleast they aren't as expensive as the ones for my trucks I was also thinking about eventually buying a CC micro system. I have two MM's that I run in my trucks and I'm familiar with wide range of tunability of their systems, so I was thinking if all else fails, I could throw one of those systems in there and tune it way down using the throttle curve, punch, and timing settings. Okay, so that leads to another question: Would it possible to detune the CC micro system enough to make it manageable for a 3 year old? Has anyone tried this? thanks for the help

If you can do it to your Slash, then you can do it to the micro

You'll probably be better off with the stock motor, and a 4 cell pack, or 1S LiPo...

I'd go for the 4 cell pack, as it'll be easier to manage, and get
You can get 2 venom packs, and get 3 battery packs out of it

Well, the winter season just ended, so they probably have to build stock back up

I know pretty much everyone's been out of motors for a few months
